The Yale University Center for Ecosystems + Architecture is a laboratory that aims to forge multi-disciplinary collaborations for pushing the cutting edge of the built environment. This graduate studio was investigating the value of biomass, particularly carbon-based waste, as an integral element for a structural material. Following the scientific method, a catalog of myco-composite test samples were recorded and grown with specific interventions as part of the workshop course.
